Pregnancy, Obesity and Diabetes Research Group

Our mission focuses on critical moments in an individual’s life cycle where we can clinically intervene to prevent  obesity, type 2 diabetes and diabetes-related complications. We aim to reduce risks by addressing gestational diabetes, blood sugar instability, and obesity head on.
By utilising cutting edge risk prediction models, advanced tools like continuous glucose monitors and innovative medications, alongside a dedicated team of experts including doctors, scientists, dietitians, and exercise specialists, we strive to improve health outcomes. Our goal is to explore these challenges and reimagine evidence-based care standards, ensuring people lead healthier lives now and in the future.
