In a sign of the emerging research talent across northern Sydney, a group of impressive up-and-coming investigators have taken out a host of coveted awards at a special event at the Kolling Institute.

More than 75 people attended the HDR/ECR Research Forum, which showcased outstanding research across neuroscience and pain, cardiology and renal, cancer and Public Health, and musculoskeletal and clinical streams.

The event brought together HDR and ECR researchers, clinicians, staff, students, and external participants for a day of scientific presentations, collaboration, and discussion.

We would like to congratulate the award recipients:

2nd Place: Cedra Ayoub
3rd Place: Natasha Lucas

ECR Category
1st Place: Henry H.L. Wu
2nd Place (Tied): Benjamin Faber and Matilda Longfield

External Abstract Category
Best Presenter Award (Tied): Aleesha Caldwell and Gi Kon Nam

The event was co-ordinated by the RNSH Scientific Staff Council, the Postgraduate Research Students’ Society, the Northern (Arabanoo) Precinct, and FMH Research Education, Faculty of Medicine and Health.
