{"id":1473,"date":"2019-06-12T16:41:00","date_gmt":"2019-06-12T06:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webdev.sydney.edu.au\/kolling\/?post_type=news&#038;p=1473"},"modified":"2025-08-29T17:10:44","modified_gmt":"2025-08-29T07:10:44","slug":"recognition-for-the-kolling-director","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/kollinginstitute.org.au\/news_demo\/news\/recognition-for-the-kolling-director\/","title":{"rendered":"Recognition for the Kolling Director"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Kolling\u2019s Director of Research Professor Carolyn Sue has been awarded a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in this year\u2019s Queen\u2019s Birthday Honours for her significant service to medicine, particularly mitochondrial disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carolyn is a highly accomplished neurologist and is internationally regarded for her work in both Parkinson\u2019s and mitochondrial disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently appointed to the Director of Research position, Carolyn has been at the Kolling Institute since 2002.
